Everyone has their own battles to fight in their lives. Some are more literal than others. For Sam Winchester it is a mixture of both. His inner struggle since he was fed demon blood in infancy. To do good when the evil inside him tugs at his soul; tempting him with powers that he has yet to discover fully. It is this very battle that he will soon lose. The inner struggle that his demonic father, Azazel, will use against him in his final hour.
In this story it was Sam that made the deal, Azazel killed Dean and Bobby. “I can bring him back Sam…” said the Yellow Eyed Demon. “All you have to do is open that door..” Sam thought he had a plan. He would use his demonic powers to open the door and then with Dean and Bobby back they could help him close it. What he didn’t count on was how very consuming, how corrupting the full out use of those powers would be. Clouding his mind and darkening his very soul. Sam had a new outlook on life.
The Demon kept his end of the bargain, Dean and Bobby were among the living again. They closed the door. But it was too late for Sam. Brother against brother, human against… something else. Dean couldn’t kill his brother, for he was hell bent on saving him…

What happened to Sunnydale? It is just a hole in the ground. The golden haired Slayer saved the world with the help of her friends. She couldn’t have done it alone. The Wiccan Demi- Goddess Willow activated every potential slayer in the world. Evil should be running back to hell. But it didn’t, it didn’t because Sam let out there own version of salvation.
Black clouds showered over the earth. Picking and choosing random bodies to inhabit, to possess. Holding the person inside hostage, helpless to only watch what horrors the demons committed with their very own bodies. The slayer line was dwindling by the masses. That’s when it happened. Four Slayers; chosen for their gallant efforts against evil, given four new abilities, separating them from the crowd. The chosen One became the chosen Four. A new line of Slayer was formed. The power of the elements was theirs to control. How they used it was up to them. Two of the chosen Four though were consumed by evil, possessed by something that altered their personalities.
This signified the return of the Oracles, two familiar faces who predicted the golden haired slayers demise. The evil slayers disappeared from their homes, and gathered along with the other demons. The Forces of good couldn’t do it alone they needed help. Someone who could pull Buffy back from the brink. Help of someone who has fought a demon inside and won. Angel.
Willow worked her magical mojo pulling Angel and his team from the hell dimension that had consumed LA. Who knows what other evils were let out by her actions, but it was already too late. The evil slayers that had been consumed by the demons set out to find Dean Winchester. It was he that ended their lives. Setting forth a series of events that would bring together the two worlds.

Out of the Darkness is an Alternate reality Role Playing Game. Canons are accepted as well as Original Characters. Good and evil alike. If you would like to play a character that is not listed please feel free to do so. There are far too many actual show canons that have come through to list. Deceased characters are off limits unless you can come up with some spectacular excuse of why they are back.
